We Got Rejected by Google for Startups
Remutate Inc.

We recently got rejected by Google for Startups because they typically don't accept service-based firms. But here's the catch—we also develop our own innovative, scalable products. While the initial rejection was a bit disheartening, it turned out to be just the push we needed.

Google for Startups Criteria:

  1. Less than five years old: Check! We’re a fresh, young company ready to make waves.
  2. Less than $500,000 in annual revenue: Yep, we’re working with what we have!
  3. Building an innovative product or service with global potential: Absolutely! We’re not just a service-based firm; we’re also cooking up some exciting products such as BoojaHub.
  4. Based in an eligible country: Yes, we are Canada-based and proud of it.

Even though we hit all the marks, we still got rejected. It was a bit of a bummer at first, but we turned it into motivation. Being 100% self-funded has taught us to be resilient and creative, and we’re more fired up than ever.

We’re super proud of how far we’ve come and can’t wait to try again. To all the entrepreneurs out there, remember: a "no" can be just the beginning. Keep pushing and carve your own path!
